Saint Barnabas the Apostle

Saint Barnabas was a Levite from Cyprus, an early disciple, and a trusted missionary of the apostolic Church. Acts presents him as a generous believer who sold property for the community, vouched for the newly converted Saint Paul, and later accompanied Paul on missionary work. He is honored by the Catholic Church as an Apostle and martyr.
